The Loongtotem EVO VV mode, has 3 voltage options ( 4 if you add its eGo Mode with a 16650 battery), works like a charge, looks great. More a multi voltage then a true variable voltage. Basicly something in between a eGo VV and a lavatube or provari. It uses pulse width modulation to regulate the voltage.
Version number 3, comes with a improved circuit board , battery caps that can fit aw imr batteries and 2 vent holes at the bottom
version 2.5 comes with the improved circuit board, batteru caps without the 2 vent holes at the bottom

BATTERY SAFETY:
Simple Guidelines for Using Batteries
Keep the battery contacts clean. A 2-cell configuration has 4 contacts (ground to cell to cell to positive connection); each contact adds resistance.
Never mix batteries; replace all cells when weak. The overall performance is only as good as the weakest link in the chain.
Observe polarity for proper placement. A reversed cell subtracts rather than adds to the cell voltage.
Remove batteries from the equipment when no longer in use to prevent leakage and corrosion. While spent alkaline normally do not leak, spent carbon-zinc discharge corrosive acid that can destroy the device.
Don’t store loose cells in a metal box. Place individual cells in small plastic bags to prevent any electrical short. Don’t carry loose cells in your pockets.
Keep batteries away from small children! If swallowed, the current flow of the battery can ulcerate the stomach wall. The battery can also rupture and cause poisoning. Go to a Hospital immediately or call POISON CONTROL.
Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries; hydrogen buildup can lead to an explosion.
Observe polarity when charging a secondary cell. Reversed polarity can cause an electrical short that can lead to heat and fire if left unattended.
Remove fully discharged batteries from the charger. A consumer charger may not apply the optimal trickle charge and the cell could be stressed with overcharge.
Realistically the chances of a battery going explosive or catching serious fire are very limited. The bottom of the EVO/SVR battery sleeve has been press fit. In the event of a battery failure the bottom cap will pop off. This has been tested and true by the manufacturer Loongtotem.
